2021 BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival
Festival Location: On Location & Online
The 25th annual Bloor West Village (BWV) Toronto Ukrainian Festival returns to Bloor West Village this year with an innovative approach. Join us adjacent to Bloor St W where it all began 25 years ago and experience what our Festival will bring in the next 25 years. This years programming will be live from our premier location from 25 years ago and live online. Vibrant artists present Ukrainian culture, showcasing: sing, dancing, food and company at North America's largest outdoor Ukrainian Festival. Along our amazing entertainment, enjoy authentic Ukrainian cuisine and shopping opportunities as we re-create the historic first BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival.
The BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival continues to work closely with the Province of Ontario, the City of Toronto, and public health officials on the safe execution of the Festival, with its number-one priority being the health and well-being of both Festival audiences, talent, press and industry, and residents of the community.
Masks are required at all BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival venues where required by Toronto Public Health authorities. The BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival will provide each ticket holder with a FREE cloth mask. Where an audience member or visitor is unable to wear a mask due to health reasons (valid medical documentation provided), the BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival will provide them with a face shield as an alternative. If the audience member or visitor does not wish to wear a face shield, they will be denied entry into the venue and their ticket will be voided.
Please note that our live presentation tickets are SOLD OUT, we do however encourage you to watch our live broadcast on our website.
In line with guidance from Toronto Public Health, we have moved our 25th edition of the Festival to a private property adjacent to Bloor St West. For this years edition of the Festival, we will NOT be occupying the public roadway for the duration of the Festival (Bloor St West will not be closed and is open to normal vehicular traffic).
We encourage those that did not have the opportunity to obtain a live performance ticket to watch the Festival live online via our website or on Facebook live.
