Festival Vendors - 2024
We welcome vendors submissions for the 28th annual Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival on September 13-15, 2024. The Festival has grown significantly over the years, attracting some 900,000 attendees in 2022.
A limited number of spots will be available to responsible vendors who will create attractive displays of high-quality foods, beverages, goods and services.
How to Apply
The deadline for applications is JULY 20th, 2024.
Please apply as early as possible using the online form below.
Confirmation
Notice of acceptance will be emailed to successful applicants. (Please allow an appropriate time for your application to be reviewed.) If accepted, vendors will be sent a registration form which must be returned with full payment by July 31. Late payment will not be accepted and will result in disqualification. Spots will be assigned on a “first paid, first served” basis, and solely at the discretion of the Festival Committee.
Please note: Previous participation as a vendor does not ensure confirmation for 2024. The Festival Committee strives to feature a well-balanced selection of vendors and has the right to review and refuse any applicant.
Mandatory Vendor Hours
Vendors must staff their kiosks during the following hours:
Fri., September 13: 5:00 p.m. - midnight
Sat., September 14: 9:00 a.m. - midnight
Sun., September 15: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
All vendors MUST be set up and ready for business by 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Late set-ups or early departures present a safety hazard to the public and cannot be allowed. These hours are subject to change.
Kiosk Locations
Vendors who are approved will be assigned a kiosk spot only after full payment is received. The Festival Committee reserves the right to assign a kiosk spot based on what it decides is best for the overall success of the Festival and other vendors.
Kiosk/Tent Walls
Vendor kiosks/tents can have panels/walls ONLY on the east and west sides. Because shops and businesses on Bloor St. must be visible from the street, no north or south panels/walls can be allowed. North and south sides may not be obstructed by hanging merchandise or large signs. Out of respect for shops and businesses on Bloor St., this rule will be enforced for the duration of the Festival.
Vendor Registration and Set-up
Vendors are required to register before entering their spot.
Registration will occur on Friday afternoon.
Registration location and vehicle unloading information will be provided closer to Festival dates and must be adhered to.
Vendors will be able to access their spots with vehicles only during the following times:
Fri., September 13: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sat., September 14: 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Sun., September 15: 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
For public safety reasons, vendors will not be allowed to drive any vehicles or motorized carts onto the Festival grounds outside of these times, especially on Friday. For public safety reasons, vendors who dismantle a booth before the end of the Festival will not be allowed to drive any vehicles or motorized carts onto the Festival grounds before the Festival ends.
